My 4-year-old figured out the push-button in about two seconds, and the cap staying propped open means he actually drinks instead of chewing on the lid. Survived a full week of school bag tossing without a single leak.
The button-release lid is a small thing but it's made snack time on walks so much easier — my daughter just clicks it shut herself without me stopping to screw anything back on. It's held up fine with fizzy water too, no leaking in the bag so far.
Bought this for my 4-year-old and the button-press lid is genius, she can open it herself without unscrewing anything. I've put fizzy water in it a few times and it hasn't leaked in her backpack once.
