The lid actually snaps shut tight enough that grapes and watermelon chunks don't leak into my bag. My daughter figured out the clasp on day one, which is saying something since she's four. The little fork tucked inside is a nice touch for apple slices on the go.
The 300 ml size fits exactly one apple sliced up plus a handful of grapes, and the leakproof seal has survived being tossed in a backpack all week. My son figured out the latch on his own the first morning, so no more struggling with containers before the bus.
My daughter finally stopped asking me to open her snack box, the latch is that easy for little hands. The leakproof seal actually held up with watermelon slices rattling around in my bag all morning, not a drop escaped.
