The removable bento insert keeps the grapes from rolling into the sandwich, which sounds silly but matters to a six-year-old. The little fork is sturdy enough that she hasn't bent it yet, and the whole thing has survived being dropped on the playground twice.
My daughter actually eats her whole lunch now because the little compartments keep everything separate, and the fork clips right in so nothing gets lost. The stainless steel has survived being dropped on the playground a few times already.
The removable bento insert makes it easy to pack fruit separate from the sandwich, which my daughter actually noticed. Only wish the fork fit more snugly in its slot, it rattles a bit when the box shifts.
