The stainless steel feels way sturdier than the plastic boxes we went through last year, and the fork actually clips in so it doesn't rattle around. My daughter's sandwiches and grapes stay separate thanks to the removable insert, which means no soggy bread by lunchtime.
The bento insert pops out easily, so I can pack yogurt in the bottom and fruit on top without it all mixing together. The fork that comes with it is actually sturdy, not the flimsy plastic kind. My kid uses it every single day at school.
The bento insert is handy for keeping the fruit separate from the sandwich, but it's a bit shallow so bigger pieces don't really fit. The little fork is a nice touch, though it feels flimsy and I doubt it'll last long with daily use.
