Packed grapes and cheese cubes for my daughter's first day of school and nothing leaked into her backpack. The little fork clips right inside the lid, which she thinks is the best part. She can pop it open herself at lunch, no help needed.
The lid actually snaps shut tight enough that grapes don't leak into my bag on the walk to preschool. My son figured out the clasp on day one, and the little fork means he'll eat kiwi slices instead of just crackers.
This thing really stays shut in my kid's backpack — not a single juice leak after weeks of use. The little fork tucked inside is so handy for fruit at lunch, and she can pop the lid open herself without any help.
